Excel Industries Maker of Hustler Mowers Expands Operations and Future Production into Kansas City
Excel Industries Inc. who makes the Hustler zero turn mowers has just announced the opening of a new facility at the Logistics Park Kansas City (LPKC). Excel Industries is headquartered in Hesston, KS but this new facility will create 200 new jobs in Edgerton, KS. The LPKC location will first be a warehousing and distribution center. Excel does plan to expand manufacturing of existing product lines in the very near future as sales continuous to increase.
The Logistics Park Kansas City is a master planned 1,500 acre park planned specificity for distribution and warehousing development. The park is anchored by BNSF Railway's brand new state of the art intermodal facility. NorthPoint Development built the park which was centrally and strategically placed in America's heartland. It is perfectly positioned for efficient shipping of goods for import and exports throughout the United States. It's obvious that Excel Industries Inc. is positioning it's self for future growth.

Future Expansion Plans
Along with this planned expansion in Edgerton, KS Excel Industries will continue employment growth at the headquarters in Hesston, KS throughout the next several years. Here they plan to facilitate the introduction of new product lines.
