Husqvarna Recalls Zero Turn Mowers Due to Fire Hazard

 

Product Recalled:

7100 Units of Husqvarna & Poulan Pro Residential Zero Turn Lawn Mowers

 

Hazard:

An incorrect routing of the fuel line can cause it to wear quicker than usual and leak, posing a fire hazard.

 

How To Fix:

Owners of the Husqvarna or Poulan Pro should stop using the recalled mowers immediately. Contact Husqvarna directly or your local authorized deal for an immediate free repair. All registered known owners have been contacted thru the dealer network.

Husqvarna and Poulan Pro zero turn riding lawn mowers are made in the USA by Husqvarna Consumer Outdoor Products N.A. Inc., of Charlotte, N.C.

 

Description

This recall announced Febuary 8th 2018 involves Husqvarna® and Poulan Pro® brand residential zero turn riding mowers with the Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder engine. They were sold in orange/black and yellow/black colors. On the Husqvarna models, “Husqvarna” is printed on the side of the mowers. On the Poulan Pro models, “Poulan Pro” is printed on the front of the mower. The model number and serial number are printed on the left-hand rail frame in front of the left rear drive wheel.(see above picture for reference)

Badcock & More, Lowe’s and other home centers, hardware stores, and Husqvarna Equipment Dealers nationwide and on online at Badcock.com, Lowes.com, Amazon.com and various other websites from July 2017 through December 2017 for the retail cost averaging between $2,500 and $3,000.
