A Superior Alternative to Miracle Gro?

Several years ago before Scotts bought up everything and spoiled everything they touched was a fertilizer called Miracle-Gro. This product consisted of 15 nitrogen, 30% phosphorus, 15% potash and it worked very well. Now that Miracle-Gro is in Scotts hands the fertilizer proportions are way off. Not to mention that Scotts is continuously coming out with applicators that literately spew out way too concentrated mixtures. This makes the consumption of the product unbelievably high. Well why not right? That means more sales for Scotts. But that's a waste of money for consumers. Over applying will not improve results. Plants absorb what they need and all the excess is carried off by rain water. This in fact also pollutes runoff and could cause unknowing problems in the future. Water-Soluble fertilizer like Jack's will go a long way. Lasting longer, costing less per use and saving you, the consumer money!

Jack's 20-20-20 formula is sensible and will dissolve readily. This also means that product is available in a concentrated bulk form which cost far less per pound then that of what Miracle-Gro will end up costing. Do some of your own research. For example here: Scotts bought Smith & Hawken in 2004. They were a garden lifestyle brand that had good quality products and were in business for over 30 years. They operated high end retail stores in 22 states as well they had direct mail and e-commerce services in the United States. When Scotts took over the stores they filled up the stores with junk, never thinking they would ruin the business or drive loyal customers away with lower quality products for the same price. Within just a couple of years Scott's poor quality and mismanagement drove all the stores to close putting over 700 people out of a job. Scotts has since sold the Smith & Hawken brand to Target Corporation.

“Smith & Hawken's founders were reportedly not upset to learn the company they founded 30 years earlier was closing. The San Jose Mercury News reported that Dave Smith and Paul Hawken were relieved by the announcement, stating that "Scotts couldn't have been a worse corporate owner." Smith said he asked friends not to shop there after Scotts purchased the company in 2004.”

Not to directly talk bad about Scotts, but to simply show you the value that JR Peter's Jack's Classic All Purpose Fertilizer has!
